‘CITIES FOR PEOPLE’ IN RUSSIAN AND CZECH

In May 2012 ‘Life Between Buildings’, ‘New City Spaces’ and ‘Cities for People’ was published in Russian. Continuing the string of new book launches, Jan Gehl participated in the reSITE conference in Prague this past week. Jan was a keynote speaker at this major international conference focused on designing quality public spaces, designing for quality waterfront areas and urban mobility. During the visit Jan celebrated the release of Cities for People in its 6 language together with the Danish ambassador to The Czech Republic and other international constituents. The book is currently available in English, Chinese, Danish, Russian, Polish and Czech. In the near future, the book is set to be published in even more languages, including French, German, Japanese, Arabic and Farsi
