CITIES FOR PEOPLE WINS EDRA/PLACES BOOK AWARD 2011

At the 13th Annual EDRA Great Places Award Dinner held in on May 26th in Chicago , Jan Gehl was awarded the prize for best book for Cities for People.
The book award is given to the book published within the last two years that the critical understanding of place and design of exceptional environments. The book ‘Cities for People’ best demonstrated the mature realization of a stated research agenda, that engaged with and contribute to existing themes in the literature on place.EDRA/PLACES BOOK AWARD
