The American Planning Association has created a list of 100 Essential Books of Planning in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the American planning movement. Jan Gehl’s almost classic Life Between Buildings made it to this top 100 of essential planning books from 1909 – 2009. Since the first Danish version in 1971, Life Between Buildings has been published in more than 15 languages - it is currently being translated to Polish and Serbian.>> Read more here
