Harbour Front Regeneration

South of Aker Brygge, a former industrial part of the harbour is developing as an extension of the city centre. A large urban park for recreational use has been planned in order to preserve the existing visual links between the city centre and the water. The inner part is developed as a dense mixed-use area and the outer part is mainly developed as a residential area creating a new type of modern living in Oslo.
